The Virtual Railway Relay 2020

**** Entry is now closed ****

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the normal Railway Relay event has been cancelled, but a virtual event will be operating instead.

Q:  What is it?
A:  It's a team challenge to complete a total of 26.5 miles - the distance of the normal relay - on the weekend of 1st-2nd August 2020.

Q:  How do I take part?
1.  Get a team together (no limit on team size).
2.  Agree on a plan of how to cover 26.5 miles total distance between the team members.
3.  Complete the total distance on the event weekend of 1st and 2nd of August.
4.  Get the team leader to email the total time taken to the organiser.

Q:  What is the route?
A:  There is no fixed route.  Cover the distance wherever you can.

It is possible come August that lockdown guidance will permit people to actually travel and complete the official Railway Relay route, and some teams may choose to do this, but since there is no guarantee of this you can complete your running anywhere.

That's it!

A results list will be published and all participants will receive a finishers medal.
